Office Infrastructure
We are located in the financial district of downtown Toronto, Canada, having ready access to many of our institutional and corporate clients, the local land registry office and other governmental offices, the Ontario Courts and many other lawyers and law firms similarly located who represent other parties to transactions in which we are involved.
Our offices are fully equipped to handle the needs of our clients and their often sophisticated transactions, including reception area, boardroom, corporate records storage and a modest library. We maintain and regularly update our state-of-the-art computer systems. In addition to the usual document processing, email and web browsing software, we also utilize state-of-the-art software which is specialized for our industry, such as Teraview® for on-line land searches and electronic registrations, Cyberbahn and ESC for on-line corporate searches and PPSA searches and registrations, The Conveyancer® for real estate transaction database management and document production, and Fast Company® for corporate database management and document production.
Law Society of Upper Canada Compliance
All of the lawyers of Rose Persiko Rakowsky Melvin LLP and Marvin Arnold, Q.C. are members in good standing of the Law Society of Upper Canada.
Rose Persiko Rakowsky Melvin LLP maintains Errors and Omissions Insurance with the Lawyers= Professional Indemnity Company, which is administered by the Law Society of Upper Canada. We also maintain Excess Professional Liability coverage with Marsh Canada Limited. Our aggregate errors and omissions insurance / professional liability coverage is $20,000,000.00 per claim.
